USTOA aimed to deliver a groundbreaking experience at their annual conference with a interesting twist: the final speaker in their TED Talk-style event…would not be real.
Sarah Wong, an AI-generated personality, would address the audience of 1,000+ travel professionals with a compelling talk on "The Power of Kindness," drawing on real-world research and delivering an inspiring message.
The revelation of her AI origins at the end would highlight the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, leaving the audience both inspired by the Power of Kindness, informed on the current capabilties within AI, and reflective on the future of technology in storytelling and human connection.
